Nz. Ch. Lucky Venture of Carey OFA ( Good) (pedigree) was purchased while the Garvins were in New Zealand. Gayle Garvin made him Best Puppy at the last National held in New Zealand.  He completed his New Zealand title and then was exported to the US.

"Stan" his call name is a very special dog.  Gayle Garvin knew this when she judged him.  He excels with breed characteristics.  Lovely large ears, perfect Cardigan front, great bone density.  His body length is excellent with correct tail set and tail carriage and tail length.  He moves with a proper working gait.  He is very coordinated and quite a total package.  Nz. Ch. Lucky Venture of Carey is the sire of Ch. Garvins Lila Can Smila (Best in Sweepstakes) CWCCA National Specialty 1999. He is also the sire of Garvins Landgirl (Best Bred By in Show) CWCCA National 1999.  Stan has sired lovely Champions since arriving in this Country

Am., Nz., Aus. Ch. Copperleaf Courtney (OFA Good at 9 years of age) (pedigree) Skipper was imported to the US not only for linebreeding with his son Nz. Ch. Lucky Venture of Carey,

but to mate with our blue bitch Ch. Springshires Carrousel.  Ch. Springshire Carrousel was Best of Breed at the 1993 National Specialty held in Maryland.  Our plans are being fulfilled. Carrie has had two free whelped litters by Copperleaf Courtney.  He has sired many Champions since his arrval in the US. Our most exciting news now we have done a linebreeding on Carries pedigree.  The sire of this linebred litter is a black and white son of Lucky Venture of Carey out of a daughter sired by Carrie's brother Ch. Springshires Garvin Grandeur.

	Ch. Springshire Garvin Grandeur  ( Ch. Locksleyhall Laird - Ch. Jason's Bijou, UD )   "Vincent" is a full younger brother to Ch. Springshire's Carrousel (BOB National Winner)  He was purchased with the plan of linebreeding with his sister.  We are doing that now with the introduction of the NZ bloodlines.
"Vincent" is OFA-Good, Fluff Free, PRA Clear, AKC DNA.   He is is the grandsire to our Ch. Garvins Cut to the Chase and Ch. Lila Can Smila
